Plastic freezer storage boxes are available in two sizes and hold either 1,5 to 2 ml micro tubes/cryo vials (81-place box) or 5 ml conical centrifuge tubes, including Eppendorf® brand (25-place box).

The 81-place micro tube/cryo vial box fits standard 50,8 mm ultra-low temperature (ULT) freezer racks and the 25-place 5 ml conical centrifuge tube box fits standard 76,2 mm ULT freezer racks. Made of durable polypropylene, they can withstand temperatures to –86 °C (–187 °F). Clear translucent lids permit easy viewing of samples and an alphanumeric grid provides easy sample management.
