Tubes are crafted of virgin polypropylene, nonsterile and free from flash, air bubbles and streaks. They also feature uniform wall thickness for consistent results. These tubes are endotoxin-, RNase-, ATP-, and DNA-free and available with standard lids or attached ones that feature a snap lock closure to form a tight leak-free seal.

There also is one that comes without a lid, but is sterile and not free of endotoxin-, RNase-, ATP-, and DNA. In addition, there are BIO-CERT® microcentrifuge tubes that also are sterile, yet free of endotoxin-, RNase-, ATP-, and DNA, and come with an attached standard lid.
