Cast iron float and thermostatic steam traps (parallel configuration)
Keep steam space free of condensate to provide maximum system efficiency.
- Constructed of durable cast iron
Float and thermostatic steam traps contain a float valve mechanism which modulates to discharge condensate continuously at steam temperature, while non-condensable gases are released by a separate internal balanced pressure thermosatic air vent. Stainless steel internal parts can be serviced without disturbing the piping connections.
Typical applications:
All process equipment, particularly when controlled by modulating temperature control valves
Unit heaters
Air heat coils
Heat exchangers
Steam main drip stations
