Magnetic stirring bars with low friction PTFE coating and magnetic core (Alnico 5). Cylindrical magnetic stirring bars offer excellent centering and smooth running characteristics.

Pivot ring minimises the contact area of the bar to the vessel, reduces friction and lessens marring of plastic containers (7,9×12 mm and 7,9×19 mm models have no pivot ring).
