You searched for: Drying Tubes
Drying tubes are tube-like pieces of an apparatus used to house a disposable solid desiccant, with one end terminating in a ground glass joint for use in connecting the drying tube to a reaction vessel. In bent models, the bend is oriented so that the solid desiccant does not fall into the reaction vessel. Drying tubes are fabricated from borosilicate glass, and are often used in less-demanding applications, typical in organic syntheses.
