The RX-5000α are automatic digital refractometers, which can set measurement temperature internally and have the ability to measure the refractive index, Brix degrees or concentration of various liquids.

The RX-5000α-Bev is suited for measuring the Brix degrees of beverages and sugar solutions. It has a flat sample stage for easier and faster cleaning of mobile liquids and beverages in place of the standard sample well of the other models.
