These caps are made of Tyvek® which is a fabric composed of flash spun high density polyethylene, providing an ideal balance of protection, durability and comfort. Tyvek® is permeable to both air and water vapour, yet repels water-based liquids and aerosols. It provides an inherent barrier to particles, microorganisms and non-hazardous light liquid splash.

• Ultra-low linting fabric
• Serged seams have multiple interlocking threads that are sewn around the raw edges of garment material to create a strong, stress-resistant seam
• Elastic headband
• Garments are available non sterile or gamma sterilised to SAL of 10⁻⁶
• Clean-processed garments offer lowest level of particle shedding within DuPont product portfolio (also available non clean-processed)
