The B-500 microscopes have been designed for routine laboratory use. With the optical system (InfiniFiX(TM) - IFX) the B-500 series uses an infinity-corrected optical path, implemented with standard 160 mm objectives.

The B-500 microscopes are equipped with plan or semiplan objectives (4x, 10x, 40x, 100x bright field), for crisp and vibrant image quality.

The fully accessible and centrable Köhler layout allows to adjust all the optical parameters of the illumination system, for the best balance between contrast, resolution and depth of focus.

The illuminator leaves ample room for light-intensive applications, such as phase contrast or dark field, without the need for complex active cooling.

The B-500 series can be equipped with accessories such as phase contrast, polarizing set, photo or video adapter, dark field condenser and eyepieces.
