About this item

For round bottom or high capacity flasks. Max. 450 °C, with or without temperature regulation. Flexible and replaceable heating element provides maximum heat transfer and minimises the risk of flask breakage. Unique airflow keeps the exterior cool to the touch. Aluminium housing is tough, chemically resistant, lightweight and easy to clean.

  • Stainless steel earthing screen provides added protection against shock should spillage or flask breakage occur

Models without temperature control (CMU */E): for 50 to 5000 ml round bottom flasks, must be used with an external controller. Recommended controllers: MC5 ref. 451-0165 or MC242 ref. 454-0042.

Units with temperature control (CMU */CE): for 10 to 1000 ml round bottom flasks.

Models with temperature control (CMUV */CL): for large capacity round bottom flasks between 10 and 22 litres or pear shape flasks; Also suitable for funnels).

Delivery: The CMU/E and CMU/CE models (for round bottles from 50 to 5000 ml) are supplied with a support rod clamp (support rod not included); The CMUV/CL models (for high capacity flasks between 10 and 22 litres) are supplied with three support rod clamps (support rod not included).
