VHR substrate

Diphosphopeptide with sequence, DHTGFLpTEpYVATR, corresponding to MAP kinase residues 177-189 inclusive of putative activation sites. Peptide can be used as a VHR phosphatase substrate (BML-SE333). Phosphate release may be quantified using BML-AK111 malachite green colorimetric reagent. Phosphate release is much more rapid for the phosphotyrosine residue compared to the phosphothreonine residue, both in vitro and in vivo.
