Human recombinant lymphocyte Antigen 6H (from cells)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Lymphocyte Antigen 6H (LY6H) is a novel member of the LY6 family of glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored cell surface glycoproteins. LY6H contains one UPAR/Ly6 domain. Human LY6H is synthesized as a 140 amino acid precursor that contains a 25 amino acid signal sequence, 20 amino acid propeptide that is removed in the mature form, and a 90 amino acid mature chain. LY6H is highly expressed in the brain (cerebral cortex, amygdala, hippocampus and subthalamic nucleus) and in acute human leukemic cell line MOLT-3. It is also found in lower levels in testis, pancreas, small intestine and colon. It has been shown that LY6H may play a role in both the central nervous system and the immune system.

Mouse recombinant SLAMF5
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
CD84, also called SLAMF5, is a member of the CD2 subgroup of the immunoglobulin receptor superfamily. Members of this CD2 subgroup mediate signal transduction through the interaction of its immunoreceptor tyrosine-based switch motifs (ITSM) in the intracellular region and the SH2 domain of adaptor molecules SAP (SLAM-associated protein) and EAT-2 (EWS-activated transcript 2), and accordingly modulate both adaptive and innate immune responses. CD84 expression has been documented on several hematopoietic cell types, including monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, B lymphocytes, and platelets. Activation of cell surface CD84 initiates a signallling cascade involving its intra-cytoplasmic tyrosine residues that results in Bcl-2 upregulation, which in turn enhances cell survival. Either immunoneutralisation or blockade of CD84 with a CD84 extracellular domain protein fragment induces cell death in vitro and in vivo.

HPLC columns, Chromolith® DIOL
Supplier: Merck
Chromolith® DIOL columns are useful as an intermediate polarity media between C18 and silica. Diol functionalised media is less polar and can have different selectivity. Chromolith® DIOL can be used with a wide range of solvents in both normal and reverse phases. In normal phase mode, the diol phase provides an alternative selectivity compared to silica whilst additionally demonstrating longer retention times that help to obtain separation. In reverse phase mode, compounds such as water-soluble vitamins, sugars or amino acids are easily baseline separated using simple mobile phases. Chromolith® DIOL columns have long lifetimes within pH range of 2,5 to 7,5, high matrix tolerance and speed of analysis.

Mouse recombinant CD5
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
CD5 is a transmembrane glycoprotein of the conserved scavenger receptor cysteine-rich (SRCR) superfamily and expressed on thymocytes, peripheral T cells and a subset of B cells (B1-a). Moreover, CD5 also was found expressed in small lymphocytic lymphoma, hairy cell leukaemia and mantle cell lymphoma cells. The long cytoplasmic tail of CD5 has no intrinsic enzymatic activity, but contains four tyrosine phosphorylation sites, including an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based (ITAM)-like motif (pseudo-ITAM) and an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory (ITIM)-like motif (pseudo-ITIM), as well as multiple potential serine and threonine phosphorylation sites. It physically associates with the T cell antigen receptor (TCR) and B cell antigen receptor (BCR), where it negatively modulates the activation and differentiation signals transduced by these receptors. CD5 also plays an important role in protection from activation-induced cell death and in the recognition of pathogen associated molecular patterns (PAMPS) present on fungal surfaces.
