Using proprietary bonding technology, the Cogent C8 300™ has a C8 chain bonded directly to the 5 µm, 300A TYPE-C™ silica surface with two separate points of attachment resulting in silcon-carbon bonds.

The bonded does not hydrolyse in acidic conditions since there are no siloxane bonds attaching the ligands. This column is a very stable, efficient and unique HPLC column for macro molecules.
