Zero Waste Box™ Recycling Solution for Disposable PPE

A Zero Waste Box™ is a complete and convenient solution which includes the storage, shipping and recycling of a particular type of waste that isn’t currently recycled through local councils or traditional recycling facilities.

Use this Zero Waste Box™ to recycle: Disposable protective face masks such as dust masks, FFP2 (or 'so called' N95), FFP3 and surgical masks (as long as they don't come from a medical environment), face shields and visors, disposable hair nets, disposable shoe covers, disposable nylon glove liners in full and half finger, ear plugs, disposable vinyl, nitrile and latex gloves. Please do not include gloves that are contaminated with materials considered hazardous or dangerous. Fabric, homemade or paper mask, or other types of protective garments.

How it works:
• Order - Select a Zero Waste Box™ based on what and how much you would like to recycle.
• Collect - Fill your box with the accepted waste and seal the box with adhesive tape.
• Ship - Using the pre-paid UPS shipping label affixed to the back of your box, send your filled box to TerraCycle® for recycling. UPS requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice and does pick ups Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm. Pick-ups can be arranged online or by telephone. All shipments are carbon-neutral, meaning the carbon emissions released during transport will be offset.
• Reorder - Continue to recycle and reorder a new Zero Waste Box™. Your collected waste will find a second life as recycled materials, reducing the need to extract virgin materials and depleting resources.

Everything collected through the Zero Waste Box™ system is sorted and processed into raw materials that can be reused instead of being sent to landfill.

Caution: Do not send in any item that has come in contact with substances classified as hazardous waste e.g., sharp, flammable, reactive, acidic, poisonous, corrosive, ignitable, toxic, infectious or pathogenic or material contaminated with blood which presents a danger to the environment, or to people.

Do not send in medical waste. This includes material contaminated with blood or bodily fluids and waste that originates from health care facilities, hospitals, home care, physicians' offices, dental offices, blood banks, veterinary clinics, etc.
