Mix-n-Stain™ antibody labelling kits utilise a technology that allows rapid antibody labelling without a purification step.

HRP conjugates can be used for Western blot, ELISA, immunohistochemistry and other standard immunoassay applications. The enzyme label can be visualised with chromogenic substrates such as DAB, ABTS, TMB and TMBUS in the presence of hydrogen peroxide.

R-PE and APC belong to the family of phycobiliproteins, which are derived from cyanobacteria and eukaryotic algae.

R-PE has absorption maxima at 496, 546, and 565 nm respectively and emission at 578 nm. Because of the high extinction coefficient (~1,960,000) and high fluorescence quantum yield (~0,82), R-PE is the brightest dye for the 565 nm wavelength region.

APC has absorption maxima at 650 and emission at 660 nm. Because of the high fluorescence quantum yield (~0,68), APC is the brightest dye for the 650 nm wavelength region.
