AMPLIseal™ is a self-adhesive sealing film notable for its low autofluorescence, in particular in the wavelength range critical for Real Time PCR. It consists of a thick PP film coated with a transparent acrylate adhesive. The adhesive layer is protected by a peelable polyester film. The strongly adhering acrylate adhesive provides reliable sealing, thereby minimising evaporation but without influencing the PCR reaction or the fluorescence measurement.

Small Volume™ plates have round wells with a conical geometry, which allows a working volume of just 4 to 25 µl. All plates are supplied without lid, except for some sterile formats.

These high profile lids, height 9 mm, are designed to protect against contamination and evaporation during sample storage and cell culture. Lids without condensation rings are mainly used with non tissue culture treated microplates. Lids with condensation rings are recommended for cell culture applications, since they inhibit cross contamination.
