About this item
Coagulation Factor XII, human plasma, is a native coagulation factor XI that once activated (principally by kallikrein), is converted to Factor α-XIIa. Factor α-XIIa then converts Factor XI to Factor XIa.
- Prepared from plasma that has been shown by certified tests to be negative for HBsAg and for antibodies to HIV and HCV
- Purity of single band by SDS-PAGE
- Specific activity is around ≥20 units/mg protein
Specific activity is measured by clotting assay and compared to a standard curve produced using normal pooled human plasma.
