Zinc protoporphyrin ≥95% (by TLC)
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Potent and selective inhibitor of heme oxygenase (Ki=3nM), the enzyme that generates carbon monoxide (CO). Inhibits soluble guanylyl cyclase. Produces a time- and concentration-dependent inactivation of all three isoforms of nitric oxide synthase (IC50=0.8µM, 4.0µM, and 5.0µM for nNOS (NOS I), iNOS (NOS II) and eNOS (NOS III), respectively). Does not cross the blood-brain barrier. An useful tool to elucidate the role of CO in signal transduction and as a neurotransmitter.

Anti-RIPK3 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
Certain serine/threonine protein kinases, such as ASK1, RIP, DAP, and ZIP kinases, are mediators of apoptosis. Receptor interacting proteins including RIP and RIP2/RICK mediate apoptosis induced by TNF-R1 and Fas, two prototype members in the death receptor family. A member in the RIP kinase family was identified and designated RIP3. RIP3 contains an N-terminal kinase domain but, unlike RIP or RIP2, lacks the C-terminal death or CARD domain. RIP3 binds to RIP and TNF-R1, mediates TNF-R1 induced apoptosis, and attenuates RIP and TNF-R1 induced NF-κB activation. Overexpression of RIP3 induces apoptosis and NF-κB activation. The messenger RNA of RIP3 is expressed in a subset of adult tissues. Meanwhile RIP4 has been identified and initially characterized. These data suggest that RIP4 is involved in NF-κB and JNK signalling and that caspase-dependent processing of RIP4 may negatively regulate NF-κB-dependent pro-survival or pro-inflammatory signals.

Anti-BrdU Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (Fluorescein)
Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
5-Bromodeoxyoridine (BrdU) is an analog of thymidine (derivative of uridine) and can be incorporated specifically into DNA in place of thymidine. Cells can be pulse-labelled with BrdU, and those cells that are synthesizing DNA (in S-phase of the cell cycle) will incorporate BrdU into the DNA. MAb to BrdU can then be used to identify cells that undergo DNA synthesis during exposure to BrdU. The proportion of cells in S-phase of the cell cycle can be determined either by fluorescence microspcopy or by flow cytometric analysis.

Anti-HSP60 Goat Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
Hsp60 is a member of the chaperonin family of heat shock proteins, with homologs functioning in the cytosol and mitochondria to fold nascent and aggregated proteins. Hsp60 is the eukaryotic homolog of the E. coli GroEL protein, and forms a multimeric complex in the mitochondria with Hsp10 (Cpn10) to form a large central cavity in which ATP-dependent protein folding takes place. TRiC/CCT, a eukaryotic relative of Hsp60, is expressed in the cytosol and participates in the folding of actin and tubulin substrates, but lacks any association with an Hsp10-like co-factor.

Anti-HSPA8 Rat Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
The Hsp70 family of heat shock protiens contains multiple homologs ranging in size from 66-78 kDa, and are the eukaryotic equivalents of the bacterial DnaK. The most studied Hsp70 members include the cytosolic stress-induced Hsp70 (Hsp72), the constitutive cytosolic Hsc70 (Hsp73), and the ER-localized BiP (Grp78). Hsp70 family members contain highly conserved N-terminal ATP-ase and C-terminal protein binding domains. Binding of peptide to Hsp70 is assisted by Hsp40, and stimulates the inherent ATPase activity of Hsp70, facilitating ATP hydrolysis and enhanced peptide binding. Hsp70 nucleotide exchange and substrate binding coordinates the folding of newly synthesized proteins, the re-folding of misfolded or denatured proteins, coordinates trafficking of proteins across cellular membranes, inhibits protein aggregation, and targets the degradation of proteins via the proteasomal pathway.

Anti-HSP90 Rat Monoclonal Antibody (Biotin) [clone: 16F1]
Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
The Hsp90 family of heat shock proteins represents one of the most abundantly expressed and highly conserved families of cellular chaperones whose expression can be upregulated under conditions of cellular stress, and includes cytoplasmic (Hsp90-alpha/beta), ER (grp94), and mitochondrial (TRAP1) localized members. Structurally, Hsp90 is characterized by an N-terminal ATP-binding domain, a medial substrate-binding domain, and a C-terminal dimerization motif. Hsp90 dimers function in cooperation with cochaperones (e.g. Hsp40, Hsp70, Hop, p23) to stabilize a multitude of client protein substrates, including steroid hormone receptors, protein kinases, and transcription factors. The essential binding and hydrolysis of ATP by Hsp90 is inhibited by ansamycin drugs (e.g. geldanamycin, 17-AAG) which occupy the N-terminal Hsp90 nucleotide-binding pocket. Many Hsp90 client proteins such as erbB2/Her-2, c-raf, bcr-abl, p53, and hTERT, are members of well characterized oncogenic pathways, making Hsp90 inhibitors useful anticancer agents.

N(5)-(1-Iminoethyl)-L-ornithine HCl ≥95% (by TLC)
Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
L-NIO is approximately 5 times more potent as an inhibitor of endothelial cell NO synthase than other arginine analogs such as L-NAME and L-NMMA. It inhibits NO production in endothelial cytosol (IC50=0.5µM), inhibits acetylcholine induced relaxation of rat aorta rings (IC50=2µM) and causes a dose-dependent increase in mean arterial blood pressure (EC50=19.5 mg/kg) in the rat. The product is not sterile.

Sulforhodamine multiCaspase activity kit
Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
The Sulforhodamine Multi-Caspase Activity Kit detects apoptosis through the covalent binding of a red fluorescent probe to active caspase enzymes in living cells. The sulforhodamine-labeled caspase inhibitor probe (SR-VAD-FMK; excitation at 550 nm and emission at 595 nm), comprising a sulforhodamine derivative of valylalanylaspartic acid fluoromethyl ketone (VAD-FMK), covalently binds to the reactive cysteine (Cys 285) on the large subunit of active caspase heterodimers

Anti-KLK7 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: B12]
Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having diverse physiological functions. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers. KLK7 is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members. The KLK7 enzyme is thought to be involved in the proteolysis of intercellular cohesive structures preceding desquamation, which is the shedding of the outermost layer of the epidermis.

Anti-MC3R Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
The melanocortin receptors are members of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. Their ligands, the melanocortins, are peptides consisting of µ-, β- and γ-melanocyte stimulating hormone and adrenocorticotropic hormone. MC3R binds all melanocortins with equal affinity. Agouti-related protein (AGRP) is the high affinity endogenous antagonist of MC3R. It is expressed in the brain, placenta, and gut tissues, but not in the adrenal cortex or melanocytes.
