VWR® PESTINORM®, Gas Chromatography (GC) Certified Reference Material
Supplier: VWR Chemicals
Due to its excellent separation capacity and its high sensitivity gas chromatography is a widely used technique for analytical purposes. In order to get proper identification and quantification results of the analysed compounds, reference standards are needed. These PESTINORM® reference substances can be used for the characterisation of GC column properties. In addition they may also be used for the identification of unknown compounds in a gas chromatogram or as standards in quantitative GC analysis.

VWR® Preservation System, Cryoinstant
Supplier: VWR Chemicals
Microbiological laboratories need a simple procedure to maintain important microorganisms rather than repetitive sub-culturing, which results in contaminated cultures, loss of viability and, even more importantly, loss of original characteristics by introducing biochemical and genetic changes. Cryoinstant consists of 25 porous beads in a vial filled with a broth containing glycerol. Microorganisms will bind to the porous surface of the beads. The excess broth is aspirated, and the vials stored at temperatures down to –70 °C in a freezer.
