Screw-Lock Grinding Jars for Mixer Mill MM 500 Nano
Supplier: Retsch GmbH
The Screw-lock grinding jars of the mixer mill MM 500 nano perform radial oscillations in a horizontal position. The inertia of the grinding balls causes them to impact with high energy on the sample material at the rounded ends of the grinding jars and pulverise it.

Planetary micro mill, PULVERISETTE 7 premium line
Supplier: FRITSCH
The PULVERISETTE 7 premium line has been designed with the grinding bowls sunk into the rotating disc. This enables rotation speeds of up to 1100 rpm, which translates to centrifugal accelerations up to 95 times the Earth's gravity. The resulting energy application is roughly 150% greater than classic planetary mills. The outcome for the user is significantly shorter milling processes and fineness levels down to the nano range. The equipment operation requires a pair of grinding bowls (not supplied) with a choice of materials and sizes of 20 ml, 24 ml and 80 ml.
