Anti-CK16 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
KRT16 is a member of the keratin gene family. The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. Most of the type I cytokeratins consist of acidic proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains and are clustered in a region of chromosome 17q12-q21. This keratin has been coexpressed with keratin 14 in a number of epithelial tissues, including esophagus, tongue, and hair follicles. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the keratin gene family. Software for HPLC method development, ChromSwordAuto® 5 and ChromSwordAuto® 5 Hitachi Edition
Supplier: COLLECTION PREFIX HPLC
ChromSwordAuto® 5: Communicates directly with the HPLC instrument in order to create a fully automated HPLC or UHPLC method development station. The unique ChromSwordAuto® software is capable of developing and optimising HPLC methods fully automatically within just a few hours. Methods already in use can also be optimised, thus reducing analysis time considerably. All you have to do is place the sample in the autosampler, set a few parameters and start the optimisation process. ChromSwordAuto® then predicts the method conditions and controls the HPLC system connected in recording the chromatograms. These are analysed by the software and the optimal conditions determined. The rapid optimisation mode can be used to provide an overview of the performance of the column/solvent system selected or to rapidly screen columns and eluents considered for use. The fine optimisation mode additionally collects and evaluates further ancillary data and produces up to 10 sets of alternative optimal HPLC conditions. Both of these operating modes can be applied in combination with column and solving switching procedures in order to try a variety of column/solvent combinations or to establish optimal pH conditions – fully automatically.

Semi-micro and analytical balances, Excellence Plus XP series
Supplier: Mettler - Toledo
The XP analytical balances provide high performance weighing with improved linearity safety and security. This is achieved with the introduction of QM toolbox, SmartSens and MinWeigh functions alongside the SmartGrid technology, which provide fast and accurate weighing. This range is therefore particularly suited where regulatory compliance is required. The draught shield and drip tray can be completely, quickly and easily removed as before but now SmartSens allows the operator to weigh without touching the balance, thereby smoothing the work-flow and reducing spillage and contamination risks. MinWeigh warns the user if the minimum weight requirement, as laid down in USP or local GMP procedures, has been violated. The design also features a large, colour, backlit touch screen that facilitates direct access to all functions and an extended range of applications that include density determinations, differential weighing formulation, target weighing and statistical evaluation.
