Ras inhibitory peptide

The peptide sequence corresponds to amino acid residues 1149-1158 of the guanine nucleotide-releasing factor hSos1, which is essential for the control of Ras activity. Blocks the binding of hSos1 to human Grb2, a protein that binds to activated receptor tyrosine kinases.
