Protein blocking buffers, Superior™

Blocking buffer is an enhanced blocking agent available in multiple formats. Superior™ Blocking Buffer contains a proprietary antigenically non-determinant protein for blocking Western blot membranes, blocking and storage of ELISA plates, and blocking prior to immunohistochemistry staining.

Ideal for a high signal to background ratio in most systems and has a rapid blocking time of about two minutes for ELISA. It uses a non-serum protein and does not contain biotin or other animal source proteins that interfere with immuno-complexes. It is also suitable for assays that use avidin/streptavidin systems.
