External Temperature Probe Adapter

External adapter for continuous validation processes that provides access to an external probe (Ø 3 to 6 mm) to take temperature readings that are independent of the equipment microprocessor.

• Allows the insertion of an external probe with a minimum length of 200 mm and a minimum diameter of 3 mm and a maximum of 6 mm
• Accessory designed for the AES series, AE-DRY series and AE-B series vertical autoclaves
• Also compatible with AES-12 autoclaves from the AVS-N series

Designed for continuous validation processes, this external adapter allows the insertion of a temperature probe (Ø 3 to 6 mm) to perform readings independently from the autoclave’s microprocessor. Installed on the autoclave door, it features a precision-machined perforation and removable sealing components-such as an Allen plug and cable gland-that ensure a secure and durable seal.

The adapter enables real-time monitoring by allowing the insertion of an external probe (minimum length 200 mm), providing an additional layer of control to verify that sterilisation parameters remain within optimal ranges. This improves thermal monitoring accuracy, enhances process reliability, and helps detect deviations as they occur.
