Nile Red ≥95% lipophilic stain

Photostable, lipophilic stain that strongly fluoresces in hydrophobic (lipid-rich) environments, but has minimal fluorescence in aqueous media. Commonly used for the detection of intracellular lipid droplets by fluorescence microscopy and flow cytofluorometry.
