About this item

Culture thousands of spheroids in a T-75 footprint.

  • S10ULA surface coating
  • Optically clear flask bottom for easy spheroid visualisation
  • Gas permeable polystyrene film microcavity substrate to support long-term 3D cell culture
  • Working volume of 25 to 50 ml
  • Simple 'plug and play' protocol for scaffold-free; self-assembly spheroid formation of large quantities
  • Approximately 12000 spheroids of uniform size and shape per flask
  • Ease of spheroid formation, culture, treatment, assessment and harvest
  • Spheroids can be cultured for extended time periods and passage from one flask to another

The Corning Elplasia microcavity flask is a 'plug and play' solution that is ready-to-use, sterile, and requires no specialty reagents or stimulation to support the bulk production of approximately 12000 homogeneous spheroids, all in a T-75 footprint.

The unique microcavity geometry paired with the Corning Ultra-Low Attachment (ULA) surface and gas permeable substrate supports long-term culture. The Elplasia flask is designed like a traditional T-75 flask with a common media reservoir which enables easy imaging, handling and collection of spheroids.

Packaging: 1/pack; 5/case.
