Activated hydrocarbon trap packed with activated charcoal, should be used mainly for removing the trace amounts of hydrocarbons and organics from
carrier gases. Water and other contaminants, which cannot be trapped by the activated charcoal, may be removed by a Molecular Sieve 5A trap.

Moisture trap (Pre-conditioned) packed with Molecular Sieve 5A, used mainly for removing the trace amount of water that is present in nearly all carrier gases. Trace amounts of water can be very detrimental to most liquid phases operated at high temperatures.
