Pyrase strips

This kit contains plastic strips with a paper zone saturated with chromogenic substrate for the detection of pyrrolidonyl peptidase and a bottle containing a developing reagent.

Pyrase Strips are used for diagnostic test for the rapid differentiation of Enterococci from the group D Streptococci and differentiation of Streptococcus pyogenes from other haemolytic Streptococci. The Strip can also be used for the identification of Gram-positive genera, catalase negative cocci, and coccobacilli.
