The flter protects columns from particulates and extends the column life-time.
During use, as column back-pressure increases to unacceptable levels quickly remove the disposable precolumn filter. This will minimise instrument downtime and extend the life of your column.
The precolumn body contains a stainless steel filter element and does not introduce any extra column volume so that the chromatography is not affected.
With its convenient direct connect design, changeover time is measured in seconds and no tools or wrenches are needed.
