Isolated from Salmonella minnesota R595 (Re mutant). Prepared by mild acid hydrolysis from purified Salmonella minnesota R595 (Re) LPS (isolated by a modification of the PCP extraction method), converted to the uniform salt form and dissolved in sterile pyrogen-free double distilled water.
