Cooled incubators, HettCube Range

The HettCube range of cooled incubators provide functionality and customised features. The inner chamber is made from acid-proof stainless steel (DIN 1.4301). Units only heat and cool as necessary, ensuring lower power consumption, operating costs and environmental impact. At an operating temperature of 37 °C the units consume less than 0,05 kWh. The fan is located outside the usable space, so there is a low air flow inside the chamber and a low noise level.

• Microprocessor control with program functions, temperatures can be set with an accuracy of 0,1 °C
• Gentle air flow and efficent insulation result in homogeneous temperature distribution
• Small footprint of only 0,6 m² for all models
• Door locking mechanism locks both the door and control panel simultaneously to prevent inadvertent changes to the parameters
• Units can operate at a temperature of 1K above a stable ambient temperature, allowing the incubator to be used without cooling wherever possible to save resources
• Accoustic and visual alarms and potential-free alarm output
• HTS trays (one size fits all incubator models) run on telescopic rails which allows them to be pulled out up to 70% so samples at the back corners are easily accessable
• All models have a temperature safety device Class 3.1 which protects the samples and the incubator

Temperature is maintained by radiated heat, preventing hotspots forming and cultures drying out. Conditions inside the incubator are the same at all points. The environmentally friendly water blown foam insulation, together with the gentle air circulation system makes an inner door unnecessary. The doors close automatically if opened at an angle of less than 90°, door hinges can easily be moved from one side of the incubator to the other if required. Models 400 R and 600 R have casters to allow moving, once positioned, they can be levelled with adjustable feet.
