LB medium is a nutritionally rich medium originally developed for growth and maintenance of E. coli strains. The ultimate in ease and convenience, LB medium in a capsule form eliminates the waste, inaccuracies, and mess associated with weighing out bulk powder. The growth characteristics are the same as LB agar powder.
