Dilatometers, small quartz

The kit permits the determination of volumetric changes of materials upon melting or upon cooling from a melt. A typical application would be the determination of shrinkage from a mold.

• Kit includes quartz dilatometer cell, aluminum oxide powder (28 g), quartz sample tube and instruction sheet
• 0,1 and 1,5 ml capacity can be used with the 15 and 28 mm diameter furnace repectively
