AccuBlue® and AccuClear® dsDNA Quantitation Kits offer sensitive and selective detection of double-stranded DNA in a 96-well microplate format.

Unlike absorbance-based nucleic acid quantitation, fluorescent DNA binding dyes are highly sensitive and selective for dsDNA and provide a more accurate DNA concentration in the presence of contaminating RNA and other common contaminants including free nucleotides, protein, detergents and salts.

AccuBlue® broad range assay: Broad linear range with blue fluorescence
The AccuBlue® broad range assay has a wide dynamic range of 2 to 2000 ng per well of a 96 well plate (0,2 to 200 ng/µl of sample). The standard curve can be extended to 4000 ng/well with slight compromise in linearity. Excitation/emission wavelengths: 350/460 nm (blue fluorescence).

AccuBlue® high sensitivity assay: Non-toxic and non-mutagenetic DNA quantitation dye
The AccuBlue® high sensitivity assay has a linear range of 0,2 to 100 ng dsDNA per well of a 96 well plate (0,02 to 10 ng/µl of sample). Excitation/emission wavelengths: 500/530 nm (green fluorescence).

AccuClear® ultra high sensitivity assay: Versatile kit with high sensitivity and wide linear range
The AccuClear® ultra high sensitivity assay has a linear range of 30 pg to 250 ng dsDNA per well of a 96-well plate. Excitation/emission wavelengths: 460/507 nm (green fluorescence).

Note: AccuBlue® NextGen assay for quantitation of ultra-low amounts of DNA in precious or dilute samples is also available (see Cat. No. 31060). The AccuBlue® NextGen assay has a linear range of 1 pg to 3 ng (dependent on instrument sensitivity) dsDNA per well of a 96-well plate (0,5 pg/µl to 300 pg/µl of sample). Excitation /emission wavelengths: 468/507 nm (green fluorescence).
