Ready to use sensitive substrate for the detection of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) activity suitable for ELISA and solution assays. Offers faster signal, enhanced sensitivity and the lowest possible background.

Reaction of the substrate with HRP generates a free-radical cation that exhibits blue colour with an absorption maximum at 653 nm. Acidification of the reaction by addition of sulfuric acid yields a yellow-coloured diimine terminal oxidation product, which absorbs light at 450 nm.

TMB Plus liquid component substrate is optimised with TMB and hydrogen peroxide concentrations that allow a linear response to typical HRP concentrations utilised in immunologic assays.

Ordering information: Contains 2,08 mmol/l TMB, hydrogen peroxide, citric acid buffer pH 3,3 and additional proprietary, non toxic stabilisers.
