Grinders are ideal for resuspending protein and DNA pellets or grinding soft tissues. Pestles are specially designed to fit either 0,5 or 1,5 ml microtubes.
Disposable, autoclavable polypropylene pestles eliminate the need for pretreatment of pestles and microtubes. The CTFE/stainless steel pestles are reusable.
: Pestle may be hand-operated, or driven by optional cordless mixer motor. Mixer motor includes two AA size batteries and adapter for attaching pestle.
