Used in Beckman Coulter Avanti J series centrifuges, the rotor develops centrifugal forces that can efficiently pellet bacterial cells from large volumes or particles from tissue homogenates.

JA-18.1 Fixed angle rotor, aluminium. Major applications: High-force sedimentation in microcentrifuge tubes under refrigerated conditions. Includes 24 reversible adapters that provide 18000 rpm (min⁻¹) maximum speed. Tubes are not included. In the J2-HC, maximum speeds are reduced to 15000 rpm (min⁻¹) at 45 angle and 16000 rpm (min⁻¹) at 25 angle. For use in Avanti J series and J2 series centrifuges (except Avanti J-E).

The JA-25.15 fixed-angle rotor with Biosafety lid, aluminum is designed to hold up to twenty-four 15 ml tubes in two concentric rows at a 25° angle. Used in Beckman Coulter Avanti J (except Avanti J-E) and J2 series centrifuges, the JA-25.15 rotor develops centrifugal forces that are especially efficient in pelleting subcellular particles, bacteria, algae, and chloroplasts, or in short-column banding of viruses and subcellular particles.
