Funnels
Funnels assist with the easy transference of liquids or powders into containers. Typically with a wide mouth that feeds substances through the narrow stem, these devices prevent unwanted spills and maintain a clean work space. The funnels are available in specialized styles for specific laboratory applications. Many styles are compatible with filter paper or a glass frit for filtration. With the ability to channel any fine-grain or fluid material, funnels are essential tools for any environment.
Funnels with level control, b.safe
Supplier: Bohlender
b.safe funnels with level control are made of electrically conductive dissipative PE-EX and suitable for use with flammable liquids. Electrically conductive waste canisters are usually black and therefore the filling volume is not visible. This is where the funnel with fill level control comes in.

Cytology funnels, CytoSep™ for the Wescor Cytopro® cytocentrifuge
Supplier: Simport Scientific
These funnels will snap quickly in place, allowing the pad to align correctly with the sample tunnel. They are made with a compression ring around the sample hole in order to better control the rate of absorption, and to ensure more consistent results. Two ports, one in the sample well and one in the tunnel, provide great versatility. Samples are loaded directly through the chamber caps to prevent spilling of hazardous ones. Caps provide added safety to the operator. A large, centred cell deposit area makes screening easier and more sensitive. Double funnels with two chambers enable cell deposit areas to be close together and easy to find, helping to speed sample analysis. Two deposit areas on one slide enhance all of the advantages of single chambers whilst reducing time spent loading and unloading slides.
