Fall Harnesses
The full-body harness is an important component of personal fall arrest systems. Keeping workers suspended upright in the event of a fall, the individuals will remain supported until rescue arrives. Since body belts concentrate all the falling force on the abdomen and are therefore prohibited by most regulations, full-body harnesses are highly preferred. With these devices, the force is distributed throughout the body, reducing the chances of injury. Stretchable webbing provides greater comfort and improved safety.

Safety device against suspension trauma, Miller Relief Step™ Safety Device

The Miller Relief Step™ Safety Device alleviates the effects of orthostatic intolerance, also known as suspension trauma. If a fall occurs, a person becomes suspended in a harness and remains both vertical and sedentary for a period of time, causing blood to ‘pool’ in the veins of the legs. Subsequently, blood flow is restricted to the brain and other major organs that may initially result in unconsciousness. If not rescued promptly, serious injury or death may occur.
