Protein Extraction
Protein extraction kits provide a simple, rapid, and reproducible method for preparing total cellular protein extracts from a wide variety of biological samples. The results of these extraction systems generate protein samples that can be applied directly to a variety of applications. High-performance models are designed for efficient recovery of genomic DNA and RNA. These extraction kits are capable of purifying genomic DNA, total RNA, and total protein simultaneously from cultured cells, animal tissues, whole blood, and biological fluids.
Micrococcal nuclease solution (≥100 U/µl)
Supplier: Thermo Fisher Scientific
This Micrococcal Nuclease (MNase) is suitable for removing nucleic acids from cell lysates, releasing chromatin-bound proteins and shearing chromatin for use in chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) experiments.

Immobilised Papain
Supplier: G-Biosciences
A cysteine protease enzyme (EC 3.4.22.2) immobilised on 4% agarose, cleaves Immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibody molecules in the hinge region, generating three ~50 kDa fragments; two Fab domains and a Fc domain. The papain-digested antibody is unable to promote agglutination, precipitation, opsonisation, and lysis.

Albumin/IgG removal kit, Pierce™
Supplier: Thermo Fisher Scientific
The Pierce™ Albumin/IgG Removal Kit is optimised to decrease the abundant albumin and antibody components of human serum samples in preparation for 2D electrophoresis and other protein profiling methods. By eliminating most of these two proteins, which account for nearly 70% of total serum proteins, other less abundant proteins of interest can be more easily detected and studied.

Glycoprotein Isolation Kit, Cona And WGA, Pierce™
Supplier: Thermo Fisher Scientific
The glycoprotein isolation kit allows isolation of glycoproteins from complex mixtures, including serum, tissue and cultured cell lysates. The procedure uses concanavilin A (ConA) or wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) as a ligand to bind a specific class of glycoprotein from complex protein samples - those containing alpha-lined mannose or terminal glucose residues (in case of ConA) and N-Acetyl glucosamine (GlcNAc) groups or sialic acid (in case of WGA). This kit has been used to isolate glycoproteins from serum as well as HeLa and CHO cell lysates in approximately 50 minutes.
