Polyacetal flangeless nuts in combination with the inverted ferrule do not require flanging tools. A hand tightening procedure makes leak free seals. The inert ETFE ferrule is the only part, besides the tubing, which is in contact with the fluid, the nut is never in contact with the fluid stream.

VICI Stainless Steel Unions are made for joining two pieces of ¹/₁₆" Ø tubing, or an ¹/₈" tube. They are precision machined with a focus on the concentricity of the bore as well as on the finish of the surfaces to give an absolute leak-free connection. These Unions have internal threads, which we recommend for most applications. Internal threads make stronger connections and internal fitting details provide the lowest dead volume for high performance instrumentation.

The tee is designed with a glass spiral to promote sample vaporisation and to provide even sample distribution to the two columns. The glass spiral also traps sample residue and minimises the need for guard columns. VICI Jour PEEK unions are usable with most common HPLC solvents (organic and inorganic) without the risk of corrosion, metal contamination, or protein degradation that might occur with stainless steel. Connections to these PEEK unions can be made with any 10 to 32 fitting that uses a polymeric ferrule. The unions use the standardized Valco fitting details with smooth transition of the taper into the threaded part.
