Chemical oxygen demand (COD) analysis

The chemical oxygen demand (COD) of water can be determined by the dichromate method after digestion. Avantor® offers two methods for measuring COD:

  • Rapid method
  • Official method

Samples can be mineralized in a manual or automatic digestion system with the correct reagents.
