These rugged and reliable vortex mixers have a durable motor, solid metal casing and rubber feet that prevent them 'walking'. The Vortex-Genie® Pulse is ideal for applications requiring more aggressive action than standard vortexing.

Digital true vortex mixing as incorporated in the original Vortex-Genie. Programmability achieves accurate and repeatable results, especially for use with kits or repetitive protocols. The pulse feature of the Vortex-Genie Pulse allows rapid pulsing or timed “on/off” mixing for interval mixing, with the benefits of interruption of the vortex to achieve better mixing.

Both units accept all Vortex-Genie 2 accessories. Optimized for use with high speed attachments/accessories.

Delivery information: The Digital Vortex-Genie 2 and Vortex-Genie Pulse are supplied with the standard pop-off cup for single test tubes and a standard 76 mm platform suitable for beakers, flasks and multiple test tubes. The ABI Digital Vortex-Genie 2 is supplied with microplate adaptor and bands. Vortex-Genie® Pulse is supplied with quick change standard pop-off cup for single test tubes and 76 mm platform suitable for beakers, flasks and multiple tests tubes. Unit can be used with other optional Vortex-Genie accessories, which must be purchased separately
