The ergonomically designed BiOptima Class I microbiological safety cabinets ensure optimum efficiency and high-level energy savings. Telstar BiOptima ONE is a range of high quality Class I biological safety cabinets, ensuring the highest level of protection for operator and environment. The principle of BiOptima ONE is total extraction of the air through a HEPA filter. Ambient air is drawn from the front opening and extracted through the H14 HEPA filter, to ensure no harmful particles are released into the environment. BiOptima One is standard available in 90 and 120 cm approx. (3 and 4 ft.) widths.

BiOptima One is designed for microbiological research with biological BSL 1 and 2 agents. Centrifuges, harvesting equipment and other equipment dedicated to procedures with the potential to generate aerosols can be easily placed inside the cabinet.

The front window allows complete and comfortable access to the working chamber, making cleaning easy and making it possible to place large objects and accessories in the working chamber.

The BiOptima cabinet offers a very spacious work area, 550 mm in depth and 700 mm in height, which enables productivity and comfort with plenty of space, in a smart compact design with an overall height of only 1450 mm. It is also extremely easy to clean, the one piece working chamber is made of AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded edges inside the cabinet to facilitate effective disinfection and maximise contamination prevention. In addition, the electrically operated front window slides upwards offering 500 mm H access.

The BiOptima series is defined by the ergonomic sloped front window, the easy-to-clean hinged front window, V shaped front grills and rounded arm rest for maximum comfort, energy efficient dimmable LED lights and energy saving EC fans. All units are fitted as standard with UV light and a maintenance reducing full size G3 pre-filter under the work surface that prevents large particles or dust from reaching the HEPA filters, effectively doubling HEPA filter lifetime.

Service friendly: BiOptima is fitted with the innovative 4F system (Fast, friendly and efficient) Telstar system for filter replacement. Filters are easily accessible from the front of the cabinet and the fast clamping/unclamping device the time required to replace the filters is dramatically reduced.
Construction: The cabinets body is made of epoxy coated steel with AISI 304L stainless steel chamber internal working chamber with rounded edges. The front window is anti-reflective with UV protection.
