Desiccator, vacuum, with plates
Vacuum chamber systems include a transparent jar and neoprene gasketed vacuum plate with a tubing adapter that fits 6,4 mm Int.Ø tubing. Jars are available in polycarbonate (PC) or polyetherimide (PEI). White plates are made of polypropylene (PP) or polycarbonate (PC) and are supplied with neoprene gaskets.
- Withstands a full vacuum without risk of implosion or shattering
- Useful as a controlled environment chamber for degassing operations and freeze drying
: Do not autoclave jars intended for vacuum service. Do not use with unsaturated halogenated hydrocarbons. Also, polycarbonate jars cannot be used with other organic solvents, acids or bases.
