This container includes a boric acid preservative which allows the storage and transport of the urine sample to the laboratory.

  • The bacteria remain viable for 24 to 48 hours or more, depending on the type of microorganisms
  • Sterile container, sterilised by ethylene oxide
  • Boric acid quantity of 0,4 g

The boric acid supports the viability of the bacteria while preventing further multiplication. This preservative does not alter the characteristics of the urine and will not affect sample determination.
