The 47 mm vacuum microfiltration assembly is used for general filtration and is designed to handle up to 500 ml of sample liquids for the analysis of particulate or microbiological contamination. The 90 mm vacuum microfiltration assembly is designed for large sample volumes or samples with high particulate loads that would tend to clog a 47 mm diameter filter. The assembly with fritted glass support is used for general filtration.
