These arrays address separation speed and separation resolution. 'Short' capillary arrays are the most versatile as they are compatible with all consumable kits. Run times can be decreased with 'Ultra-Short' arrays, and 'Long' arrays enhance separation resolution. Some kits have been designed for a specific array for optimal performance.
