Qualitative filter papers, technical, creped
These filter papers are used for routine analyses like clarification, determination of substances, but also as discs with a center hole for technical applications. Grades with a wet burst resistance >30 kPa are referred to as wet-strengthened and are therefore
suitable for pressure or vacuum filtration.
They are made of refined pulp and linters with an >95% alpha-cellulose content, are very pure with an ash content between <0,1 to 0,15%.
Grade 5 H/N: Very fast rate of filtration, wide-pore. Used for filtration of essential oils.
Grade 37/N: Very fast rate of filtration, wide-pore.
Grade FT 55: Very fast rate of filtration. Used for rapid clarification of coarse contaminants or impurities; galvanic baths; for use as articulation paper for dental impression trays.
Grade 1602/N: Very fast rate of filtration. All-purpose filter papers for even faster clarification than with grade 603 before performing less critical analyses of highly viscous solutions.
Grade 39/N: Very fast rate of filtration, wide-pore. Used for cooking oils and vinegar filtration.
Grade 603/N: Fast rate of filtration. Used for sugar juices; sugar solutions; clarifying filtration of clarified dried sugar beet shred and of beet sugar extracts.
Grade 6 S/N: Medium fast rate of filtration. Used as prefilters for transformer oil.
Grade 601/N: Medium fast rate of filtration.
Grade 17/N: Medium fast rate of filtration. Used for fine filtration of tar.
