Biopsy Pads are made from open-celled foam, which allows fluids to transfer safely and thoroughly around tissue while holding the specimen securely.
- Available in white or blue foam
- Rectangular, 25×30 mm
- Allow for less fluid carry-over during processing
To prevent floating and avoid artifacts, Biopsy Pads should be pre-saturated in fixative. The thin design helps eliminate excess pressure from being applied to unfixed specimens, reducing the risk of tissue sticking to the pads or fibres coming apart during embedding.
