Surflash is made of PU, which is firm at room temperature but soft at body temperature, making the catheter more comfortable.
- Only exists in the straight version
- Enables quick and easy confirmation of the placement in the vein by an additional flashback
- Higher certainty of proper placement
Helpful with patients whose veins are hard to detect and in which venipuncture is more difficult, such as small children, people undergoing chemotherapy.
